This workshirt is woven on traditional looms using thick, textured cotton yarns, each fabric square is dyed in shades of indigo, slate, and denim blue — then arranged in a gridwork of color and tone. It’s soft but substantial, with a structured feel and just the right amount of weight. Tailored with a pointed collar, cuffed sleeves, and a slightly boxy fit, it’s equally at home layered over a tee or under a coat.
The workshirt began as pure utility — worn by the laborers who built America. Its silhouette hasn’t changed much over the past century, and for good reason: it’s strong, structured, and built to move. This one is our version, reimagined in handwoven cotton patchwork.
This shirt is made start to finish in our Marrakech atelier, and no two are quite alike — the patchwork placement is unique to each garment.
